Drive shows as “Removed”, will not automatically rebuild.

On any TSS server with software RAID, if a drive shows as “Removed” and will not automatically rebuild, follow this procedure to manually start the rebuild:

1. Reboot the server.
2. At the prompt, press CTRL-i to enter the Intel RAID utility.
3. “”Degraded” volume and disk available for rebuilding detected. Selecting a disk initiates a rebuild. Rebuild completes in operating system” message appears.
4. Press enter to accept.
5. Select exit to reboot.
6. Rebuild should start when server boots to OS.
