Symptom:
Formatting the internal hard drive with multiple partitions fails.
Possible Reason(s):
If the drive was previously formatted with only a single partition and then formatted with multiple partitions, the drive may not be seen by the system.
Solution(s):
When the first attempt to format the drive with multiple partitions fails, power off the system.
Power on the system and reformat with the same number of partitions. The drive format should work and all of the partitions should show up as drives.
