TSS 3100/4000 RAID Setup

TSS Initial RAID Setup

• During boot message for RAID, press CTRL-H to enter the web setup
• Select Adapter 0 (default) and click START
• Select Configuration Wizard
• Select New Configuration > Next
• Select Yes to clear the current configuration
• Select Manual Configuration > Next
• Hold CTRL and select each drive then click Add To Array then click Accept DG, then >Next
• Click Add to SPAN then >Next In the Configuration window
• Select RAID Level – RAID 5
• Strip Size – 1 MB
• Access Policy – RW (Default)
• Read Policy – Always Read Ahead (Default)
• Write Policy – Always Write Back (Default)
• IO Policy – Cached (Default)
• Drive Cache – Enabled
• Disable BGI – Yes
• Select Size – Manually enter the size for the appropriate RAID level (RAID 5) from the Green line.
• Click Accept
• Select Yes for Always Write Back mode
• Click > Next then > Accept
• Click > Yes then > Yes to Initialize
• Click on Door Icon to Save and Exit
